In light of the designer jeans thread, just wondering how much some of you spend on your daily outfits.

For me, I like to be somewhere in the middle. No $200 jeans, but not walmart either.

Nice/Casual:

Shirt: $75 polo (ralph lauren usually)
Pants: $60-120 depending on shorts or long khaki's
footwear: $130-200 depenging on sneakers or shoes
watch: $100

Formal:

Shirt: $75-100 buttondown
Blazer: $400ish
Pants: $200ish
Shoes: $200ish
Tie: $75ish
Watch: $600ish TAG (but I got it for free)

I only have two good blazers though and a few good dress pants so it's not that bad relativley. Plus, sometimes I mix and match shoes and watch between formal and casual.

I must say I'm interested in seeing what those guys with $300 jeans wear daily.

Casual:
Polo for $30 at the RL outlet
Cheap pants from outlets, etc.. None of it's junk. In fact, I've found alot of nice jeans (I wear mostly jeans, and no, not the pre-ripped ones) for really cheap.
Shoes: $70 at most I believe. New Balance or Flip Flops (Reef, with beer can openers on the bottom.

)
watch: None at the time being. I need to get on that.
Ring: silver, something like 10 bucks in Mexico

For formal stuff, I don't have a clue. I don't remember what it cost, as it was 2 years ago for my Bar Mitzvah. The only thing I know is my watch, (bar mitzvah gift) which cost a bit over $500 I think. My Grandma had a rings made for my brother and I, but I don't know the cost.

Odd topic, but hey, I've got nothing else to do now.

(sorry to copy you)
Nice/Casual:

Shirt: $70 (Brooks Brothers polo usually)
Jeans: $50-430 (depends on cut of shirt, no baggy shirt with tight jeans)
footwear: $150-500, depends on the weather & also the cut of the jeans
watch: $495, Oakley Torpedo most of the time.

Formal:

Shirt: $45 - 395 buttondown
Blazer: Don't even own one!
Pants: $50 - 100, the high end dress pants I tried really never impressed me.
Shoes: $65. Yeah, $65. Bill Blass brand. They look amazing and are comfy, and I don't wear them enough to warrant a better pair.
Tie: $55. Tommy Bahama
Watch: $195, Hamilton purchased at Marshalls.

(Fashion was my first love before computers & Head-Fi, and Prada is still my favorite brand even though their quality has taken a turn for the worse)(And no, I'm not gay. Straight guys can enjoy high end clothing too)

Hanes T-shirt = ~$4
Hand-me-down tommy/nautica jeans/random pants = $20-40 (I sorta wear the sames one for consecutive days, need to start buying more clothes)
Sketchers boots = $40
Cheapo socks, briefs, belt = ???

In the winter, I often wear an old leather jacket. It's ripped, beaten, oversized, but still has the new leather smell for some reason. Also, some sweaters my cuz gave me.

(as cruddy as my wardrobe may sound, I've actually received quite a few positive comments from women)

Heh I am very cheap when it comes to clothing because I am growing VERY fast. Things I buy something before school starts in Sept, will be small by the end of the year.. sometimes even by the middle.

Usual School wear:
T-Shirt: $10-$15
Jeans: $20-$25
Diesel Sneakers: $80-$100
Watch: none
Belt: around $10

Work:
Dress Shirt: $15-$20
Dress Pants: $25-$30
Dress Shoes: $80
Belt: $15
Watch: my cellphone

I get my clothing from stores like Marshalls, SYMS, Daffy's, H&M. You can always find very good clothing there for cheap price. Most of the jeans that I have retailed for $70+ and I paid around $20 for them.
