I rather spend on accessories so with the basics I keep it cheap. I don't really do formal much. I have a range so I don't know the average as it depends on the function, weather, and season.

Shirts - $0-75. Although lately <$30
Pants - $30-275. Mostly <$50 now.

Belt - $30
Watches - $125 (although I don't usually wear one for time since I have the time on my phone)
Bag - $60-550. I have a few and it depends what I'm carrying.
Footwear - $30-350
Outerwear - 100-1100.
Glasses - $550
Sunglasses - $200-350

steel toe boots - 50$ something

Usual:

$20-30 - Trendy Tee
$70-200 - Trendy Jeans
$60-80 - Shoes
$50 - Socks, boxers, belt

So about $200-300 depending on the specifics.

Trendy:

$150-350 - Various blazers / jackets
$20-75 - Trendy or Designer Tee
$70-200 - Trendy Jeans
$60-80 - Shoes
$50 - Socks, boxers, belt

$350-700 Total

No watches, jewelery, etc. I bike most places so so extra crap just gets in the way.

Basically I just change the shirt and add a blazer when going out, but it works well. Haven't had any issues getting into clubs in SF, Chi, Miami / South Beach, etc.

Putting it all together is more important than cost anyway. My girl skips over all the super-expensive crap but was voted best-dressed by the guys in her office, whereas the 'fashionistas' (i.e. mindlessly-buy-whatever-is-in-Cosmo-or-on-TV) wear thousands of dollars worth of crap but just blend in and look like everyone else

Erm...

Casual Clothes

£30 T-Shirt
£55 - £80 Shoes
£80 - £125 Deisel or Levi Jeans
£30 Black Belt
£30 - £70 Jumper
£160 Leather Jacket if it's the right conditions
Cheap boxers and socks.
No jewellery.

Usually, about £400/$755 including the jacket.
Damn I never knew I wear clothes that cost that much. It all adds up...

I'm sure I'll spend more on clothes when I'm out of Secondary School and making big bucks.

Where the heck do you guys buy clothes? My shorts range from $35 to 45 a piece and shirts cam go from $20 to $50 obviously, though usually I opt for the cheap ones.

Shoes, on the other hand, a size 14 6E New Balance at my local big shoe store is $90. So that's where you pay when you get to be my size.

Today:

Levis jeans 60€
Blue button-down shirt 10€ (lousy stuff)
Adidas Gazelle sneakers 60€ (could not resist the retro appeal!)
Seiko divers' watch 120€
A Trunk & Co backbag (always with me, it seems) 50€

Not very original, I admit.

Hmm, let's see...

Everyday uni:

Blouse/shirt: ~€50
Pants: ~€80
Shoes: differs from ~€100 sneakers to ~€250 boots (heels)
Jacket: ~€130

Accessoires usually add up to €200 including my watch.

Formal:

Same as above usually, except that I have a different jacket which cost me €400. Also, I usually wear a different watch which is €200 if I am not mistaken, and of course jewellery to make me look all that

So it runs between €700 and €2000 plus the shirt, pants and boots.

Trendy/chic:

Usually a dress: ~€250
Shoes: €150 - €200
Accessoires: €500 - €2000

Wow, I didn't know it was that much

PS. Yes, I am a girl.

Edit: typo mistakes...

That's easy.

3 year old Columbia Shoes or Columbia sandals (depends on temp) 45$
Kaki Pants or Kaki Shorts (depends on temp) - 15$
Hawaiian Shirt or Generic Polo shirt - 15$
Underware (um....) - 0.50$
Dockers socks - 2$

So, add up the main things, and that comes up to: 77.50$us

Other things that sometimes go with my outfit:
80$ sunglasses
25$ watch
8$ physics pin
15$ nike hat

Truth be told, even if I had a lot more money to spend...... I wouldn't at the moment. I love hawaiian shirts and kaki pants and the columbia shoes/sandals. Wish I had some costa del mar sunglasses though..... :sigh:
