it all depends on how much facial hair you have.
if its only a bit, very simple 2 bucks shaver will do the job fine.
maybe if you have beards and stuff, you will need shaver with more blades... dont know... i dont have much, so i only use gillette 2 blades one.

the only tips i have is dont shave where its not necessary.. you will only encourage the hair growth and it will grow rougher and more eventually... unless thats what you want - having more facial hair..

If that were true, I'd have a full head of hair right now

.

Hair growth is mostly geneticially determined (outside of other drastic health or environmental issues). Your beard (and other body hair) will grow in at the rate your genes say. Not because you took a razor across your face too often. And you won't go blind either - trust me

i remeber reading something about that.... that it doesnt grow thicker but it just seems that way because the razor cuts the hair at an angle making it seem thicker.

im not saying that if youre basically not so hairy person, if you start shaving around your face you can become like tom hanks in Castaway, hehe..

I dont have much hair, and while i was young, i used to play around with scissors and cut the fine hair on some part of my legs, and now im having this rough, longer-than-the-rest hair developing on the area where i used to cut when i was little...

never used electric razor... too expensive, cant afford one, hehe..
but i thought they all are the same, you just sort of turn it on and turn it off, the difference maybe only some have more features ?
eg. self cleans, more battery life, different blades, etc...

why dont you use the money for electric shaver to buy headphones ? (and use el-cheapo razor instead) hehehe....

take a look at Norelco shavers on eBay.
Norelco Spectra 8831 XL is an excellent value. It is not listed on the Norelco site but is a step up from 8825XL model [and priced lower than other Spectra models] (8831XL has 70 min cordless operation).

I don't like electric shavers too much, personaly I use Gillette Sensor Excel and it's very good, just wet your face with warm water and shave, that's all.. you'll stay shaved for a longer time then from electric shavers, it's easier, cheaper and you're a real man

i am using a cheap razor, i am nearly 20 but i still don't need to shave too much, guess i am a not-so-hairy guy.
i never understand why my roommate spend 40 usd on an electric shaver.

disposable razors = multi-billion-dollar industry

in the long run disposable razors cost a fortune.

electric razors generally do not require use of shaving cream, are low risk in terms of cutting your face, faster to use, convenient, etc...
