Hi,
 
I'm looking for some advice. I need a pair of closed headphones for use in bed as my wife gets disturbed by the bleed of open backs.
 
My setup is Spotify on Iphone 4s into Pure i-20 into X-Cans v3. I would love to change the X-Cans but don't have the budget right now.
 
My usual cans are HD650, HD595 and SR80i. I mainly listen to Jazz - Metheny, Frisell, Scofield etc and 70s Prog like Yes, Floyd etc.
 
I prefer the HD650s to the Grados.
 
I have a budget of around £150. Any suggestions?

AKG K550 is an option. But the cups are pretty big, so I don't know if they will fit you while lying down... Sound is great for the price. I think they may be brighter than HD650, though...

I think the K550 might be a bit large for lying down.
 
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
