Yeah, I want to start "Way of Kings" as well.

Gonna start my "Gathering Storms" reread before I begin "Towers of Midnight":

Let me know how 'Way of Kings' compare to the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' books when you get that far.

I considered that particular book, infact, before I started reading 'A Game of Thrones'.

Will do. However. "Way of Kings" has been pushed down the to-read list in favor of "Gathering Storm", which I'd like to reread before I touch "Towers of Midnight".

Dosotevsky's The Double and The Gambler (in one volume). Just about finished with The Double, which describes with an individual's slide into schizophrenia and was written early in F.D.'s career (to mixed reviews). Fascinating. The Gambler was written later in his life and deals with 'addiction' to gambling (the author had a gambling problem).
