The German version is already available, but I prefer the english version.

You mean 1Q84.

The English translation of the first two volumes of 1Q84 are expected in the second half of 2011. The third volume will be released a little later.

I just finished the sequel to Day by Day Armageddon, a post-apocalyptic zombie novel. It wasn't as good as the previous book, but still entertaining.

Now that school has started, most of my pleasure reading time is gone.  I've read The Awakening for school and I'm currently reading The Scarlet Letter for school.  I really liked The Awakening, although I completely disagreed with my class's belief that Edna was an admirable character, and I'm really enjoying The Scarlett Letter so far.

Just finished Vengeance: The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team  by George Jonas... the book that Steven Speilberg based his movie Munich on.  Besides being a gripping story it brings lots of issues for our day to the surface too.  Highly recommended.
