It's been a long week leading into Thanksgiving for us Americans and I'm tired but seriously, I'm supposed to know what "Trainspotting" is by the title?

There was a movie based on the book, which is probably why they expected you to know it....

I never made it through the movie. There is a disturbing incident part way through that was enough to make me shut it off in disbelief.

I watched the movie and hated it. But yeah the book is about some group of people who do hard drugs and lots of bad things/that sort of stuff. Maybe the subject won't attract everyone but it's very well written.
