For some reason I've never seen the movie. So I figured I'll read the book first :)

Excellent King!

The movie is actually one of the better made adaptations of his books.

After The Shining, you'll need to check out the sequel, Dr Sleep... Little Danny Torrens all grown up... :D

lol! That's the reason I decided to pick up the shining
 
I figured I'll just marathon through the story with the two books :) 
 
I'll probably be reading ender's game after the two. The movie kinda left me unsatisfied :frowning2:

Nope, read the Selfish Gene...but I'm sure I will read other Dawkins books as well in the near future

Yea i have read a few, the blind watchmaker is my favorite. Question for ya - Do you know a good recording of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor I have seen a good performance of the piece by Julia Fischer on youtube and am thinking of buying it. I though id ask an expert.
