heh, I used to SO hate them. Now I kinda miss em.... What was that one song "I am human and I need to be loved.."? There was a plain version of it an d a HUGE REVERB-VERB-ERB-RB-B version I thnk. I like that one. Anyway:
1. Frank Zappa - Obvious
2. Fishbone - The Hardest Workin Band I ever saw. Why aren't there gold plated statues of Angelo and Walter at the LA Airport?
3. Neil Young - In any phase, with any band - always good.
4. Rev. Horton Heat - Full Kustom, Baby!
5. Mike Keneally - The only post-Zappa band member to make it with his true identity intact. I like Mike.
6. Cocteau Twins - nothing else like them
7. Jane's Addiction (tied with Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Both of these bands were really good when they were all on heroin. They cleaned up, broke up, and, in the case of the peppers, SUCKED up. I digress.
8. The Beat Farmers - I really miss Country Dick Montana.
9. ZZ Top - Got a soft spot in my heart for these guys. Deal with that!
10. They Might Be Giants - rock and roll for the tragically literate.
11. The Sugarcubes - Why not?!
ok,
