ORG's LPs are really nice. Top notch without question.

Deep house with just the right kind of sensual, laid-back vibe that would be perfect for an after-hours nightclub. "Crimson" is my favorite pick.

Ever since I heard Kobana for the first time, I've associated the name with quality progressive house. His "Reload" EP I enjoyed a ton, especially the "B-side" "Move Back". I've waited until now to finally purchase this three-track remix set of said track – a mistake on my part. Verve's remix is the one for me.

My third remix package from Ioan Gamboa. I already know to expect these to be good. Understated, but good. I think Progreg's mix might be the winner here.

Vinayak^A is my man. Truly a producers' producer and a craftsman worthy of attention. Martin Buttrich's "Echo Dub" is utterly brilliant in its minimal, stripped-down reinterpretation of the original.

I should take it upon me to explore Molecule Recordings' catalogue thoroughly with care, because I only have two of their releases thus far but both a really good. Their artwork is always so gorgeous as well. Nick Stoynoff's take on the original is simply magical.

Went to see Cara Dillon last night, simply stunning vocals its spellbinding how she can convey emotion and musicality when she sings. Its also a real treat to watch the very skillfull acoustic musicians who make up the rest of the band think "the transatlantic sessions". We even managed to have a chat after the show for a few minutes and she wished the misses happy birthday so she was over the moon and grinning from ear to ear. I hoped to ask if their new album might also be released on vinyl but to be honest Cara was so radiant it completely slipped my mind.

The support act were two guys called  "Winter Mountain"  sort of a folksy Simon & Garfunkel sound, nice harmonies.

Anyhow a great night out was had by all.
Just listening to Winter Mountains CD and  holy smokes the T1's are good.

I am blown away by Pink Martini's new album: Get Happy. It was an insta buy when I saw it and oh boy what an unbelievable album it is. And very good recording.
The unexpected and very special bonus for me personally is song no.9: a fantastic interpretation of a very old folk music song in my native language: Romanian.
Killer vocals by Storm Large.

The SR-009s and Track 9. are something out of this world.

I keep coming back to this one. It's folk at its most creative and varied.

Love Is Simple by Akron/Family

If you give this a listen, stick around past the first track; it's just a prologue and is one of the least interesting pieces on the album.
