I just gave my 2.1 setup the workout of its life listening to this:
My speaker setup is: my laptop and the ODAC, feeding a Yamaha RX-V2500 which is bi-amping a pair of Infinity Alpha 50's, and I'm also using an Epik Sentinel subwoofer. I reached for my radio shack SPL meter and I was seeing peaks of just over 100db on the strong bass lines and bass drum kicks. My headphones probably won't sound quite the same when I put them on later tonight. I haven't cranked my speaker setup in quite a while, and I forgot how good it can sound.

I don't know why I waited to listen to King Crimson. I like good prog. Holy Smokes! This is great.
I'm enjoying picking up anthologes and box sets of some old favorites. Quite a bit music on 2 discs.
