Microbiologically speaking,
When I start churnin', burnin' and turnin'
I'll make your atoms move so fast
Expandin' your molecules
Causing a friction fire
Burnin' you on your neutron
Causing you to scream
"Hit me in the proton, BABY!"

2010 release from the veteran British vocalist and Roxy Music frontman. The album features musical contributions from Nile Rodgers, Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, Groove Armada, Scissor Sisters, Marcus Miller, Flea, Mani (Primal Scream, ex Stone Roses) and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead. Olympia sees Bryan Ferry reunite on record with members of Roxy Music, including Brian Eno, Phil Manzanera, and Andy Mackay. This is the first album to reunite them since Roxy Music's seminal album For Your Pleasure in 1973! Olympia is a masterpiece of prolific artistry, blending sultry, elegant lyrics with genius compositions by Ferry, Rhett Davies and innovative, contemporary musicians.

I absolutely love "Olympia." I couldn't get over the lack of recognition immediately after it was released. Bryan Ferry at his "Boys & Girls" best!

Being a lifelong lover of heavy rock music, I liked The Cult back in the day: Electric and Sonic Temple. I thought 2007's Born Into This was a good return to form....older band...solid album.

I think The Cult's new release probably bests Born into This.....

The Cult's 2012 release-streaming on Rhapsody....first impression...some very good rock songs....maybe a bit overproduced with Bob Rock at the helm....thinking of his influence on Metallica's mediocre 90's output....but gotta say-pretty good sounding hard rock album me thinks.
