Swans - The Seer

Just been checking this out and like some of it, kind of like early Pink Floyd with more guitars and a bit of John Cage/Sonic Youth mixed in. 93 ave. B Blues, The Apostate, The Seer, are the stand out tracks for me. The walls of noise they create are fantastic in parts, but If only they could be a bit more inventive with the time sigs that follow the inventive concrete music then they'd be quite an original band. Having said that, If was still a stoned teenager I'd probably love it haha

Glad you liked it. "Quite an original band" LOL Swans have influenced more artists than you can poke a stick at. The Seer marks their 30th annversary :)
