Man this is such a good album. I now understand what all the hype is about this one. I hate the sound of the saxaphone with a deep unrelenting passion, but some how Mr. Coltrane managed to produce such a beautiful relaxing sound out of it. The piano is beautiful as well as the bass. While many drummers are obsessed with beating the snares, toms, and symbols like their redheaded step child, these drums are chill and not overpowering, and my only gripe is the last track with what sounds like a Timpani drum.... it just doesnt sound right but thats okay.

If you like this, I recommend the Deluxe version of the same album; with the Deluxe edition I noticed a big improvement in sound quality over the standard CD version.

This is so good, chill, and relaxing. If you love jazz and more specifically Bossa Nova, no doubt you will love this.
