Back to the seventies, Curtis Mayfield's album "Curtis" which never fails to inspire me. Oh well...

Set up: CD690 + SRC2496 + Monitor 10R

Update:

I continued with Charles Mingus' album "Mingus Ah Um", "Open Letter To Duke" still amazes me. I swapped headphones, the K240 DF replaced the Pioneer.

Roger Subirana - Shedneryan

It's a 60 minutes full of epic compositions, where each compositions is flowing directly from one another, without pause. It's full of beautiful, flowing, twinkling, golden, silvery, mystical.... oh God, just listen by yourselves! You can download the mp3 224 kbps for free, but you can order the CD version too.
THIS ALBUM IS TRULY EPIC!!!

I checked it out per your recommendation.  I sampled a little bit of it and does indeed sound great.  A 5.1 surround mix would really do this music some justice.  I'll be picking this up next.

The stereo SACD layer on this classic EWF recording is simply mind blowing.  I highly recommend picking it up while it's still available.
