Very cool. So in Harrisburg, you folks lived thru the song "Allentown" by Billy Joel. Me, too ... my dad worked for US Steel Gary Works. We spent our weekends at the Lake Michigan shore, instead of the Jersey Shore.
My brother sent me this image yesterday. We went to this concert fifty years ago yesterday. He was thirteen, and I was sixteen.
I don 't think that Queen's first album was out yet. The highlights for me were Aerosmith's version of "Train Kept A-Rollin',"
and Mott The Hoople's version of "Sweet Jane." Check-out the ticket prices. Ah, memories...
For today:
Principles of Lust: perhaps NSFW?
The Enigma is kinda groovy, but this music is more up my alley.
Song composed by Eden Ahbez. It was a big hit for Nat King Cole in 1948.
With Rosanne Cash.
The drummer here is Jay Bellerose - a master of the craft.
Song composed by T-Bone Burnett.
