Music hunting on a Friday. The Dirty Nil (rock) released a new album and a deluxe version for the same price? I grabbed that deluxe version with 21 songs (many demo's):

I also picked up the new Black Keys (Rock/Blues/Pop) album, Ohio Players:

Between these two albums and a bunch of No Money Kids last week, I went hunting looking for new Nubya Garcia (Jazz) music, but she has only released a few singles under her name in the last four years. And the music she has teamed up with others for wasn't really working for me. But I did grab the two singles though.

From 2023 is Lean In:

And from 2024 is Fortify:

Pretty good few weeks for picking up new music!

This is the tune to play at a party that is dying on its feet in the early morning, everyone left standing all doing the slow shuffle routine and looking like death

A repetitive rhythmic kick to start with a distorted synth line underneath leading to percussion all the while slowly building out with sound till you think it’s going somewhere then it gradually thins out then back into a big foot stomping beat with percussion that’ll raise their hands annnnnnnnnnnd back into the beat till the end.

It’s criminal this has only 922 views in 5 years, it popped up in one of my roon mixes - glad it did as I like all his stuff.

I love Nubya Garcia's musical style and have both her full-length albums - Source, and Nubya's 5ive, also the remixed Source album. Can't wait for her next full-length release.

Also, thanks for posting those singles. I like them.
