Driving home from the movies, the fierce Hakonnen and Hans Zimmer still in mind, the latter remembered a band called 'Fury In The Slaughterhouse'. Don't be fooled by its first 82 seconds: the following track - though no metal and other than that bands music - lives up to the bands name :) Put on your hp or insert your IEM and fasten your seat belt while cranking up the volume...

The follow-up 'She runs' is my favourite track though...

Got my CD Japan order in today, along with my Miles Davis Milestones Mo-FI SACD order from Elusive Disc. The timing of both orders arriving the same time couldn’t have worked out any better (One from Japan, the other here in the states). Both arriving less than a week of placing the order. LOL - I should play the lottery :relaxed:

The biggest want in that order though is that Mohini Dey (bass player). I could only find it for purchase from Japan.

Anyway...
  • Miles Davis - Big Fun (Blu-spec CD2)
  • Miles Davis - We Want Miles (Blu-spec CD2)
  • Santana - Caravanserai SA-CD Multi Hybrid Edition [Limited Edition] (mini LP)]
  • Miles Davis – Milestones (Hybrid SACD limited numbered Edition)
  • Miles Davis - Ascenseur Pour L'echafaud (SHM-CD)
  • Mohini Dey - Mohini Dey
  • Weather Report - Black Market (Blu-spec CD2)
Currently listening to Santana but will go through the rest later this evening and throughout the weekend :)
