Great album, produced by T-Bone Burnett. Burnett often hires Jay Bellerose, who plays on this album, as the drummer for certain albmus he produces. Bellerose has been influenced by blues and jazz, and his sound is in part derived from his vintage 1940s Slingerland Rolling Bomber kit. He often performs with shakers strapped to his ankles. He often uses a shallow 32-inch bass drum & you’ll notice, no hi-hat cymbals. Bellerose brings a different ‘feel’ and sound to the album with his unique style of playing.

Got my Denafrips Pontus, Denafrips Headphone amp, and Iris DDC (not pictured). Anyway, listening to Miles Davis Bitches Brew, and it's sounding far better than it did on my Teac UD-503 DAC through the Sennheiser HD800S cans. The music has lots of weight and detail. Imaging and channel separation is impressive. This and the system haven't even burned in yet, which means the sound will only get better :L3000:

BTW, Amazon messed up my shelf order and sent me a black table instead of the espresso (dark marron) color I ordered. The replacement is on the way though.
