Sweet Trip - Velocity : Design : Comfort

Not my usual fare but enjoyable nonetheless.

Today's chain is a little longer than necessary: Laptop (Qobuz) --> W4S Recovery --> Mojo2 --> Little Dot MK3 --> V280 --> 64 Audio U12t.
Glitchy distortion!

Instrumental "ambient" jazz with more than a hint of Roxy Music...awesome.

From a few years before (That's Rick Gretch on bass in the background)

Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill.png
My all-time favorite SD song. Kid Charlemagne from The Royal Scam is #2.

Steely Dan - Countdown to Ecstacy.png
Jeff "Skunk" Baxter on guitar.

Here's Larry Carlton on guitar and Wilton Felder (of the Crusaders) on bass.

Their first four albums: 1972 to 1976. Moving from mainly pop songs over to
jazz-rock, complex music, plenty of satire and great production. HD800 = :)
