Spiritualised. ladies and gentleman we are floating in space

Brilliant album, and I saw them on that tour, and yes we were (though I'm not sure about the 'ladies and gentlemen' part)...

So, so good, +1Mill likes for this. I've debated whether to change my avatar to this album cover instead...

Wot, no photo? Or would that be considered "evidence"

Anyways, my share of the day is this.

Arushi Jain's last album was astonishing. Can't wait for the full new release in a couple months..

Don't have to hide no evidence where I live! Alas, no photos of Spiritualized or other bands of that time period, as I hung up the ol' Nikon F in the early 80's when they (venues, promoters, management, artists) started demanding photo passes to bring gear in and gave you a few songs in a designated 'photo pit' to do your work in. I was never on assignment and never had a photo pass except once for BOC on stage. In the 70's, nobody cared and you could bring in camera gear and shoot all you wanted wherever you could get; they were more concerned about people sneaking in recording gear and/or alcohol and having enough coke.

I saw Frank Zappa Live in 1978 at Washington University (WashU) in Missouri outside in a little grassy area where they set up in a corner where buildings came together and we all just sat in the grass while they played on a cool fall afternoon... At one point he got behind something and umped out with just a tiger loincloth on.

They had just come out with the Zoot Allures Album and were doing songs from the Live in New York album, like the Illinois Enema Bandit and Titties & Beer.

Well, can't sleep 🤷‍♂️ going to be one of those nappy days - which is noice having a glorious system dialed in and music to explore :sunglasses:

Beato did an interview with this artist, a superlative guitar master.

Very high quality production quality in the Jazz Rock Fusion genre. Matteo Mancuso fronting a very tightly structured band!

Yes, I agree about Mancusi, amazing guitarist. I liked the comment by Al Dimeola - to paraphrase - how can he be so good at such a young age. To hear Dimeola say this is amazing!
Have a nice nap!
