I've been a BOC fan since I first heard them and saw them in Rochester, NY in 1972; this is from 1974, at Winterland in San Francisco...

[Epic: released March, 1975.] An absolute classic; electric guitar mastery by the most gifted and interesting of the Yardbirds guitarist alumni ☑️. The compositions are strong, too!

BOC Live is what I've got playing right now.

.... and here's one from Oakland, CA on July 4, 1981, at a Day On the Green at Oakland Stadium. Took pictures from onstage and got backstage, met a lot of cool people, froze my nose on the tour bus, etc etc....

" ... the antitheses of teen-idol bands, often with sneering mockeries of the
teen romance songs ..." Yep, and here is Carol Kaye on bass, a member of
the LA "Wrecking Crew" that played on all those teen-idol songs.

Here is Ms. Kaye again, this time playing the lead melody. She has a very
distinctive sound.

Now seriousness about the Watts riots that were all too real.

This one's for you, @LarsMan.

From 1966 to 1968 ... Frank Zappa explodes onto the scene. HD800 = :)
