What year did that one come out? I've four De-Phazz albums, The last one I got was Plastic Love Memory (2002). My Favorites from what I have are Death By Chocolate (2001) and Daily Lama (2002).

[Edition of Contemporary Music: recorded June, 1978; released October, 1978.] Quite the aural journey through many vistas: joyous / plaintive / comforting / alarming / deja vu / jamais vu ...

My ex-gf's dad introduced me to Cory Wong and I've been hooked ever since.

The first time I talked music with him, I'll admit I was intimdated. He was a professional musician played the electric guitar and used to produce music with a band back in the '80s. I told him I liked Pink Floyd to which he scoffed in a way like I was some poser trying to charm the gf's dad. "Yeah I've heard that before." He then asked what my favourite song was, to which I replied without missing a beat: "Echoes". He stared at me for a few good seconds, then stuck his hand out and said, "Welcome to the family".

These are my two favourite albums from Ringo Starr’s solo career.

Vertical Man, 1998, features such artists/ musicians as, Paul McCartney, George Harrison (they appear separately on different tracks), Alanis Morissette, Steven Tyler, Brian Wilson, Ozzy Osbourne (all as backup vocalists on some tracks), Tom Petty & Joe Walsh. The album was produced by Geoff Emerick and Mark Hudson.

Time takes Time, 1992, features Harry Nilsson, Brian Wilson & Jeff Lynne.

Patrice Rushen - Prelusion (1974) / Before the Dawn (1975). This two on one CD (Prestige 1998) represents her first two releases...

This is Patrice Rushen doing fusion jazz - before she went R&B/Soul/Disco. I think many will be surprised. I have 8 of her albums to include the first 6 releases. Prelusion / Before the Dawn is the only jazz/fusion jazz album there.

That said, she did form a collaboration group called "The Meeting" which features Alphonse Johnson (bass), Ernie Watts (Sax), Leon "Ndugu" Chancler (drum) and her (Patrice) on keyboards. I have it, but never took to it. It's modern contemporary jazz, but I'm just not a big fan of it.

It's the next in line after those 4. It was released in 2005.
