What Are You Listening To Right Now?

I'm going to have to blow the dust off my Paul Simon Graceland CD as I've not listened to it in years. Probably since I first got it.
Diamonds on her shoes has amazing imaging and percussion, rest of the album is well produced too!
Gave Graceland a listen and was reminded why I bought it - The Boy In The Bubble, I know What I Know, Crazy Love, Vol II, and of course Diamonds On The Soles of Her Shoes. For some reason (can't figure out why), Diamonds on The Soles of Her Shoes, reminds me of Adios Hermanos, which is also on The Paul Simon Collection album (a sort of best of).

Anyway, two different songs about two different subjects, but, oddly when I hear Diamonds, I think Adios.

But yeah, the Graceland album....

"The Child You Were" by Frances Aravel from I Was a Teenage Exocolonist (Original Soundtrack)

I've been playing the hell out of this visual novel for a little over a week. This track pops first pops up during a memorable scene between the protagonist and who I feel is the most interesting of the characters.

Just been listening to my 4-CD set of 'The Complete Bitches Brew' sessions - highly recommended for anybody who likes this wonderful album. Some of those session tracks are very powerful; some even more so than the album.
Just saw somebody on YouTube explain something that was new to me, though probably everybody else knows, it sounds like 'Witch's Brew', but the title is not an adjective and a noun - there is no apostrophe in 'Bitches' - it's a sentence; he and his band are the bitches and they're brewin' up a storm; clever wordplay - I like that...

Not everybody's favorite lineup of Motorhead, but it is mine - Robbo is so different from any other guitarist Lemmy had and gave the band such a different sound, but the way he builds up and structures his guitar parts is pretty amazing... Seems more like Robbo's Motorhead than Lemmy's, but I'm good with that, too....
