What Are You Listening To Right Now?

In honor of your service to the Air Force, and as a contribution to some modern-era symphonic jazz, I give you:First, and to clarify things, I never took offense to what you posted. I merely replied to the post as written. I'm also keenly aware we all have different musical tastes, so I'm not one to criticize other's tastes.
Anyway, I'm in my mid 60's so the late 1960's on is my music experience, and the 1970's is where I started collecting music. I came up listening to various types of music, though mostly Soul/R&B/Funk. As a teenager of the 70s, I developed a love for Disco. Still love it.
When I joined the Air Force in 79, that's when I really began to develop an appreciation for different types of music (being around different people opens your mind), but particularly Jazz, and Rock; but it was contemporary jazz that grabbed me, and from there I started experimenting in buying different types of jazz. Incidentally, I bought the Griffith Park Collection album when it was released, and still have it.
As I've gotten older, I find I appreciate the more traditional jazz then when I was younger. A lot of the jazz stuff I listen to and post today, especially Miles Davis, wouldn't have made it back in my younger days. A lot of the contemporary jazz I bought back then, don't get played today.
At any rate we're all different and have different tastes. Nothing wrong with that as variety is the spice of life.
Peace
With much better audio:

I think this rivals Duran Duran’s first LP. What a gem! Stay away from the 2010 digital remaster. I am not joking. Something went wrong with it. This early US pressing scratches all the itches!
