John Mclaughlin, Black Light, 2015. He still has his mojo folks!
Going the other way, I listened to it on Spotify and like it so much I ordered this UHQCD...
Congrats on the UHQCD. Let us know how it sounds.
^ UK 80's urban soul/funk/RnB group. Not bad; great production on the first album.
They have a great sound that's very easy to listen to, kinda like Steely Dan, but with different instrumentation. The sound is very tight, and the little fills by each instrument in the mix are excellent. The mastering of their music is outstanding as well, with great dynamics and very little compression / distortion.I stopped collecting them somewhere around 2009. Have lots of their stuff, some on vinyl including that "Stories Without Words" not shown here. This is from my entire CD collection ripped to my NAS...
Morning Dance and Catching the Sun where the first Spyro's I owned and thus are special to me. Still have the vinyl.
