This is an amazing album. There are six movements in the entire ballet, this
one is intended to show the level of orchestration that the composer, Charles
Mingus, created. If you don't like "Ah Um," and I can't imagine not liking it,
give this masterwork a listen.

From 1953, 1959 and 1963. Just in the mood for some Mingus today.

Yes mostly definitely. And then check out the Rolling Stones cover of the Slim Harpo song “Shake Your Hips”. Closely resembles La Grange





I’m listening to them both now, still both great
