This song was written by Kris Kristofferson.


Studio albums 1973-74-75 and live in Tokyo 1984. "Red Headed Stranger" made
Willie a global star, but IMO the first two here are better. Willie was in his prime
and the songwriting is amazing. I chose the live album because the lead guitarist
is Grady Martin who toured with Willie for 15 years after retiring from the Nashville
A-Team of studio musicians. Grady was the uncle of one of my co-workers here in
