I find myself intentionally seeking new music continually. I listen to very little of what I did when I was a kid, or in high school, or even as a young adult. I've heard Comfortably Numb 20,000 times or more, so I know what it sounds like already. I try to move on to new things. I only have so much time on Earth to sample new things. I literally had to take a six year sabbatical from Pink Floyd, so that I could enjoy them again. I ration my time with music I really love so I don't become tired of it.
