Listening w/ HD600 > O2 > Teac PD-H600

After a few listening sessions with this album I've come to really like it. I'd say it's a great album. Raising Sands is produced by T Bone Burnett who uses drummer Jay Bellerose whom he also used on the late Gregg Allman's 2011 'Low country blues' album. Bellerose is noted for his distinctive drum sound due to his vintage 1940s Slingerlan Rolling Bomber drum kit. It's an absolutely really, really cool drumming sound. Here are two pictures of Bellerose with his drum kit :

Bellerose has also played on albums of such notable names as : Allen Toussaint, John Fogerty, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Diana Krall, Willie Nelson & Elton John.
Very interesting - thanks Bob!
Jay Bellerose has a resume that's a mile long...google him, folks.

Today is for the Blues! Start with the Cajun stuff.
Tab Benoit can flat-out play. Very engaging blues.
