I prefer the production on Roots, but prefer the music on this, Arise and Beneath the Remains. I love the drums on all of their cds.

He won the Best Country Album Grammy for his third studio album - A Sailor's Guide to Earth.
It's about the birth and life-journey of his son. Engaging. Doesn't sound anything like country music, to me.
His second studio album Metamodern Sounds in Country Music was nominated for Best Americana Album.
