Just finished a Japanese mastered cd of "More George Thorogood & the Destroyers". Six tracks into a Japanese mastered "Aja" by Steely Dan. Haven't decided on the last listen of the evening, likely some jazz standards.

I recently saw La Chiva Gantiva play and I was instantly converted. Infectious (and fun) world-cumbia band in the vein of later Gogol Bordello that deserves a broader audience. The album I'm listening to now, "Vivo" is very well recorded. Highly recommended for fans of Manu Chao, Balkan Beat Box and other "new breed" world bands that combine old styles with new outlooks (and humor).
