This is quickly becoming my most watched movie and I only saw it for the first time a couple months ago. One of the all-time greatest movies with one of the most iconic soundtracks in existence.

I assume you know about the other 2 parts of the "Qatsi" trilogy? If not, I may have excited you...although the other 2 don't have (IMHO) the same impact as Koyaanisqatsi.
 
Also, if this does things for you, may I also suggest "Baraka" and "Samsara" by Ron Fricke? Perhaps more visual than audio but fabulously good.

A great, great album that has shocked me by being 24 years old. I don't like being reminded that I'm getting older (although it's better than the alternative).
 
Not a fantastic audiophile recording but a solid, good, easy to listen to one.
