What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Easily the most bad ass theme song for a TV show that I have absolutely no interest in watching.

-Funny, while reading your post I realised that I was doing the exact same thing - but in my case it was The Minutemen and 'Corona' (MTV Jackass theme song) being played on the stereo.

Their "Double Nickels on the Dime" is one of the more intelligent punk rock albums out there.

Fantastic performance. New artist for me... great vocals, great guitar work and lovely relaxing tunes.

Nice recording rig btw

^ They never quite got the recognition they deserved, imho. Weller had such varied sensibilities.

I also think that Paul Weller's mixture of introversion and abrasiveness may have led to a certain amount of negative press. The Style Council had some cracking songs.

On a different tack, the unique talents of Tiny Tim...

and also Eminem versus Ragtime

Muddy Waters - Folk Singer [Analogue Productions hybrid SACD]

Not generally much of a blues fan but this is really nice. The two bonus tracks don't fit in, though.

Mumford & Sons - Babel

I've had this for god knows how long. First listen. My first thought: loud. Not quite what I expected.

NATARIE IN THE DREAM - BEAUTIFUL DREAMER

Delightful.
