Paul McCartney's New

Unfortunately I didn't know there was a deluxe edition when I bought the general release, but the main album still has thirteen songs to play with.

I can't believe that I'm just now hearing about Mofro.  I heard a song from this album at a wine bar on Melrose Ave the other night and used Shazam to find out who it was.  Keep in mind that I'm from Dallas and have worked/traveled to New Orleans and my favorite music is by Tom Petty, Robert Cray, Marc Broussard, The Subdudes, The Black Keys etc.. You would think that I would have found Mofro before now.

As I'm at my work desk on Saturday morning, Mofro is playing Apple Lossless via USB out to my Peachtree MusicBox and the lovely MB3 desktop speakers. Combined with a thermos of great coffee and my morning isn't that bad after all.

It is a great song. I like the whole album...

I like the whole album too. It's actually my favorite Norah Jones album. My second favorite is "The Fall." I like both of those albums better than her earlier stuff.

I have her entire collection in either SACD or Hi rez DSD. I can just out the list on and let of go....I really enjoy her voice and how she interprets the material. She is a great talent. I just finished listening to her Duet with Billie Joe Armstrong. There are some great old American standards on that set.

Damn, CD only comes out in January. At least I have something to look forward to from 2014!

Edit: Seems I was misinformed and this music is already out on CD. It is Wollny's next project that is scheduled for release on January 31.
