For sure, and good to see you back on the forum again.
As I recall, that song took over from "Wipe Out" as the major rocker for a generation.

I should have made myself clear, once I have an audiophile edition of a title I don't go chasing after others. Bitches Brew is the lone exception, and that happened for other reasons, not because I was chasing better.
Got ya. And what I meant to convey is that I often (like 80% of the time) find the first press Redbook CD to be the "audiophile" version; that is, to me, the best sounding.
So even when an album (or sometimes just a single track from it) warrants chasing down many different versions/formats, often the plain old first press Redbook CD is still the best sounding to me, or at least one of the best sounding. That is, it sounds great, but maybe a vinyl copy does too, or maybe a "gold" disc version, or SACD or etc (SHMCD, UHQCD, BluSpec, XRCD...). That way I have different "flavors" to choose from, depending on mood and set up. But for the most part, the Redbook first press CD sounds the best to me and I sell back others.

Mohini Dey - Mohini Dey (2023) - I just can't stop playing this album since getting it. It's just that addictive as the music is outstanding. Add that the production and sound recording is excellent, and you have one great sounding album with some excellent musicianship, especially that of Mohini Dey who as I said before reminds me of Stanley Clarke in her play style - the track Emotion really exemplifies that for me.
Considering there isn't anything on the album I don't like, I'll just recommend a few samples - Colored Goddess, Meat Eater, Emotion, Happy To Slap.
If you're a Stanley Clarke fan, I suggest you give this a listen. It can he heard on Spotify (or any other streaming service).
BTW, this album is more jazz fusion, then rock. I must have been drunk, when I called it a "rock" album. Not that there's anything wrong with rock, it's just not a rock album.
One of the great discoveries for me of 2024.

It is out. I have been waiting for this album for years. Did not listen to it yet, but wanted to share this holy grail moment. The funkiest band alive.
