I have been slowly and thoroughly making my way through this album. When I started, I could enjoy, sit down, and listen to around 25% of the tracks. I was seeking pieces that were light-hearted, short, and contained hooky phrases. In the modern era, the percentage has risen to roughly 70%. Now, I say, move on to the more wretched and ambient—towards the deeper, darker abyss!​

Thanks for Sharing! I have the re-issue on order. Looking forward to it. Ugly Rumors was one of (if not the first) Grateful Dead album I had. Wore that album out, and then I discovered Europe '72 and I've been on a very long, very strange trip since.
