Didn't know Dave G. is that old already, wow.
I saw John McLaughlin about 5 months ago. He sure didn't look like 82 and performed like there's no tomorrow; .....in' amazing concert.

FR to '79 in Havana/Cuba ... 45 years ago, lol ...

Flavour of the week: Dell 2in1 > foobar 2k > E1DA 9038S 3K > ISN Audio S8 > JVC HA-FDX1 (med. filter)
I've been revisiting all my negatives that I left on the 'cutting room floor' when I first scanned them 15 years ago, and it's amazing what some of these look like when I can see them in my new scanner software; otherwise, I don't know why I would have discarded them without even scanning them. Here's an example: John McLaughlin from when he was more spiritual and less doom....

This is from the co-headlining tour with Mahavishnu Orchestra and Jeff Beck, in Rochester, NY, in 1975. Found some nice Jeff Beck ones on the cutting room floor, too...

I have a BIG scanning job ahead of me; no rest for the wicked.

John Mclaughlin is on my bucket list! Didn’t realise he was in his 80s🤯 The Trio of Doom was one energetic bunch!

From inspiration talked about in the Techno, Electro & Underground beats thread

Laurent Garnier: 1-4 Doctor C’est Chouette (he’s playing at the Sub Club Glasgow on April 20th)

Saw him a month ago in Porto. He still has it. Hard to believe that "Crispy Bacon" has almost 30 years...

You lucky lucky bugger, I'm extremely jealous, I'd love to head up the Sub Club to see him next month as it was/is one of my fav clubs in Scotland, only 100miles away but I have spms and these days I count myself lucky if I can leave the house for a couple of hours.

CD was still in my player, so I hooked it up to my newly acquired Gungnir. Wow!
