Sheffield Lab - The Audiophile Reference Series Recordings. Here we have Pat Coil Gold (Sheffield Lab, Gold disc, 1996).
Ripped to PC in FLAC...
Have a few Sheffield Lab recordings, not just Pat Coil. These discs are super clean and detailed.

Artsy white dude does spoken word/rap over elaborate funky grooves with fusion-era Miles overtones. I saw these guys live at the old Kennel Club in SF way back when, and they were great! Pulled out this album for the first time in an age, and still really enjoyed it.

The Motels. Total Control. A great test of system bass.

[Atlantic: recorded May, 1971; released February, 1972.] A wondrous electronic, exploratory, free-form, improvisational outing with a nice 'soul groove' (a Les McCann trademark).
