Isley Brothers with Jimi Hendrix (yes, the legendary Jimi Hendrix) - In The Beginning... The Isley Brothers and Jimi Hendrix (T-Neck, 1971). This album is included in the 23-disc The Complete RCA Victor and T-Neck Album Masters (1959-1983) boxset, I got 3 years ago. Jimi is prominent on both Testify, and Move Over And Let Me Dance.

This is my favorite Steely Dan album ... they really get it.
The song is about Owsley Stanley.
Some great guitarists play on this album ... here it's Dean Parks.
There is an amazing list of musicians on this album. Here are Wayne Shorter on
sax, Larry Carlton on guitar and Steve Gadd on drums. Yum.
Victor Feldman on the piano, Tom Scott on sax.

Maybe this is old news but I just learned that Yosi Horkawa collaborated on an album with Daisuke Tanabe that was released earlier this year. Pressing play now.

I try to buy some new/new to me music every week. I am easily bored and always looking for the new thing that turns me on. The downside to this behaviour is that I am always pushing out good stuff from my regular listening time. As an example I have been going backwards from brand new for the last few weeks. Today I came back to the album called Mojo by Ash Grunwald (2019). I forgot how great this album was, with many great guest artists. I started digging to see what Mr. Grunwald was up to and wow, I got busy buying.
In 2020 he released a blues album with Josh Teskey. Very solid blues album, IMO, called Push the Blues Away.
However in 2022, he released an album called Shout Into The Noise. This is fun! More like Blues Rock than Blues. I will be playing this A LOT!
