Love those Japanese releases; I have lots of them, especially their Blu-Spec and SHM releases. Lots of paper sleeved ones as well. The Japanese releases, whichever you get sound far superior to most of the standard American releases.

Don't know Freddie King, but I am very familiar with Steely Dan's Pretzel Logic, and Al Di Meola's Casino albums (CDs). Unfortunately, I only have that particular Al Di Meola on vinyl (have others on CD as well), and my turntable has been packed away, so I've not heard it in ages. I have Pretzel Logic for Rikki Don't Lose That Number. Love that son

And yes, I love Elegant Gypsy for precisely the same track

My other favorite album there is Splendido Hotel. And of course, the live albums - Friday Night in San Franscisco, and Saturday Night in San Franscisco.
