Welp, I'm back again. Been doing great, more energy then I've had in years, walking/hiking miles with no limitations, even in the heat and up good inclines, taking mini vacations/getaways...even starting to get back into cycling...then bam! a surgical incision infection (staph) lands me in the ER/hospital for incision drainage/cleaning, IV antibiotics, and observation over a few days. The kind of infection that could destroy my new valve and lead to a fourth open heart surgery (and third valve replacement)...all before age 50. (Actually, these infections can even kill you).

So healing wound (still draining a good amount from a tube into a plastic bulb-like container) on the lower abdomen, as well as prescribed rest, means lots more time for sitting around listening to music!

Listening to it right now (RS1x) and it's quite the album. Great mastering/production, as one would expect from this guy. also I never listened to T Bone when not a back-up player with Dylan. I was surprised. A bit Dylanesque in my mind..... Anyway, thanks for the tip. Really enjoying this, and I wouldn't have except for your tip.

Thanks

Leo

Steven loved him some Cardiacs; he's the one who turned me on to them. Here is his version of their quite lovely song 'Stoneage Dinosaurs', which he put out in 2020 as a eulogy to Cardiacs' leader Tim Smith, who died after a very long illness. Tim had a way with a melody...

It's worth reading what Steven says below the video itself...

and here is Cardiacs' original, from the early 1980's...
