Monsanto and Starbucks. On the live album "Earth," he overdubs nature and
animal sounds. The AllMusic reviewer Stephen Thomas Erlewine described
"Earth" as "one of Young's genuinely inspired nutso albums." Love it.

I particularly like his stuff like 'Ragged Glory' and 'Weld', where he was quite influenced by punk and post-punk (I believe he was a big Sonic Youth fan), and it sounds like he punched a hole in his speakers - he sure could get a nasty, crunchy sound out of that Les Paul!Many moons ago!
