One of my favorite bands ... I think they owe us a new album, before long
Today's listening adventure -
Jack White's (née Gillis) 3rd and 4th solo studio albums ... "Boarding House
Reach" from 2018 and "Fear of the Dawn" from 2021. He's also working on
a new album right now. Cool man, bring it on!
Buckle the hell up!

Joan Armatrading's eponymous 3rd album from 1976
I bought this album on vinyl when it was released in '76 and played it a lot back then, as I loved it.
I hadn't listened to it for well over 25 years until about 2 years ago, when I bought another copy on CD.
It is a superb album, full of great songs and with great production from the legendary Glyn Johns.
It also features some brilliant musicianship from the likes of Dave Mattacks and Kenney Jones on drums and Jerry Donahue on guitar.
Yesterday, I had a long car journey and listened to the whole album- from 'Down to Zero' right through to 'Tall in the Saddle' on my iPod.
What a treat to enjoy a whole album in its entirety
This is just one of the many gems:
