My heart grieves along with the family members whose childrens' lives were cut short just days ago.

R.I.P. Alan White 14.6.49 to 26.5.22

I bought this album a few years ago.
It sounds great ( to my ears).

Alan White was an excellent drummer who had the unenviable job of following Bill Bruford into Yes- a band which I really liked.
He rose to the challenge and did a great job.

As well as his superb drumming with Yes, I loved his simple, yet brilliant drumming, alongside Klaus Voorman on bass, on John Lennon's album, 'Imagine'.

The best drummers understand the importance of playing to support a song, and Alan's sensitive playing on the title track is a great example of this under-rated skill.

Watched "Respect" on Prime Video last night, and gained a newfound respect (pun intended) for the Queen of Soul. What an amazing talent! :)
