'Heather' is absolutely fantastic.
One of my all-time favourite saxophone tracks.
When I was a student I had the '74 album 'Crosswinds' on vinyl.
I played it to a fellow student, who came from a village in a third world African country. He had never heard of Billy Cobham.
It made him cry! I have never forgotten how overcome he was listening to that beautiful track.
He was an amazing man; the first person from about a 100 mile radius of where he lived, to have made it to an overseas university, back in 1976.
He thanked me for introducing him to such a magical piece of music.
Nice memories.

That is very cool ... thank you. I am a fan of Jon Batiste and of course Roy Haynes (and his grandson Marcus Gilmore).

One of the things I love about this hobby, enabled by Qobuz/Roon, is the ability to lose oneself into a rabbit hole of music that I don't own and haven't heard in decades. While not in a genre to which I typically listen, I've spent the last 45 minutes enjoying some classic Johnny Cash. It's hard not to appreciate what he brought to music and culture.

Most of the older "country" music is really blues. You might try Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard

Neil Young's live album 'Young Shakespeare'

I think this is even better than 'Live at Massey Hall'.
It has taken 50 years for this fantastic recording to surface and as the man himself said on its release- 'It's a more calm performance, without the celebratory atmosphere of Massey Hall, captured live on 16mm film and lovingly restored from ancient analogue tapes. Young Shakespeare is a very special event. To my fans, I say this is the best ever'.
