Listened to Season 1 and 2 of Battlestar Galactica. Bear McCreary leveraged quite a bit of percussion and other exotic rythmns/melodies for this fantastic reboot of the '70's Sci-fi series.
IMO pretty good recordings that provide some great full frequency spectrum details.
McCreary is probably one of my favorite composers of the last 2 decades, next to Howard Shore.
