My copy of "Nightbird" showed up yesterday. It included a DVD that has videos of 12 of the songs from the night's concert which was a pleasant surprise.
@Les Strat thanks again for the tip!

@Roy G. Biv My pleasure. I am delighted that you like it.
Eva Cassidy had such a beautiful, pure voice and these recordings are excellent.

Yes, a gem! I also like Destiny Road by Peter Green Splinter Group.
I have most of Peter Green's albums and I also bought a very good 4 CD compilation box set called 'The Anthology' when it was released in 2008.
Glad I bought it back then, as it is now out of print, and even used copies are getting expensive!
The box set also contains an excellent 72 page booklet.
This is it:

Hi Les Strat,

Thanks for the message. I’ve looked at “The Anthology” 4CD box set on a few occasions. As you mentioned, the asking price is somewhat stiff. In my case the s&h is very expensive on top of the asking price since I live in Canada. Double whammy.

Hi BobG55,

I was lucky that I bought mine when I did!
I think mine was about £20 back then which was reasonable value.
New copies are now being advertised for £100 or more!
Personally, I think it is futile to debate the 'best ever' guitarists, but Peter Green was very special, and he is definitely one of my all-time favourites.

Zoot Allures. 1976 album by Frank Zappa
Just bought the 2012 CD which was remastered by Bob Ludwig. It sounds even better than I remember the original vinyl.
Black Napkins and Zoot Allures are real favourites.

Live versions of Black Napkins, The Torture Never Stops and Zoot Allures

Had that on 8 track in 76.

At last.....
New material from New Orleans Melissa Guion ( MJ Guider)
It has been 4 long years (2016) since the otherworldly "Precious systems" release at Kranky.....
"Sour Cherry Bell" is due to release at September 18, 2020
First single "FM secure" sounds very promising by the way....

Happy listenings..... :astonished: :kissing_cat:
