Debut solo effort from Marjana Semkina (iamthemorning). Vocal driven neoclassical/folk rock, with an appearance from Jordan Rudess. This album has some beautiful atmospheres and vaguely reminds me of Riverside or Lunatic Soul at times.

Edit: Russell Allen & Anette Olzon - Worlds Apart

I love Russell Allen, but there's something about his work beyond Symphony X that doesn't sit well with me (possibly the power metal influence coupled with more modern flourishes). I'll give this another few spins before I make a judgment, though.
