Thanks for the heads-up on this record. It's quite something unexpected. Thought for a second I was listening to Nik Bärtsch on the opener "Kid" (and others). I know Aaron's ECM stuff but I hadn't listened to much of his other output on other labels.

Bass heads will love this record. If one has any low frequency issues in speakers or headphones the great fusion-y cut "Aquarium" (I could almost hear Jeff Beck soloing on this à la Blow by Blow or Wired) is a good one to discover them with--it found the membrane rattle in the right channel of my HE-4XX's! Oh well, get what you pay for.

Anyway, this is a great recording with lots of variation and it's already really growing on me!
